Good to know
Golf in Thailand at a glance
Warm weather, superb courses and caddies at nearly every club: Thailand is one of the world's great golf destinations. A few things worth knowing before you go.
Best time to play
November to February is cool and dry in most regions; March to May is hot, and the rainy season brings afternoon showers but quieter, cheaper courses.
Caddies
Most Thai courses require a caddie for every golfer. They know the greens and are part of the experience; a tip is customary.
Carts
Golf carts are optional at many courses and compulsory at some. We include them in your quote where they are required.
Weekdays vs weekends
Weekday green fees are lower and tee sheets quieter; weekend tee times near Bangkok fill up first, so book early.
Questions
Thailand golf holidays: frequently asked questions
When is the best time for a golf holiday in Thailand?
November to February is the most popular season, with cooler and drier weather in most of the country. Golf is played all year round: March to May is hot, and from June to October the rainy season usually brings short afternoon showers, quieter courses and lower prices.
Which Thailand golf destination should I choose?
Pattaya has the most courses within short drives, Bangkok combines golf with a city break, Hua Hin and Phuket pair golf with the beach, and Chiang Mai and Khao Yai offer cooler mountain scenery. Many golfers combine two destinations; we can suggest the right mix for your group.
Do I need a caddie in Thailand?
At most courses a caddie is compulsory for each golfer. Caddie fees are included in our golf packages, and a tip for your caddie is customary.
What does a golf package include?
Our golf packages typically include accommodation with breakfast, green fees, caddies, airport and golf course transfers, and local support during your trip. Every package can be adjusted to your dates, courses, hotels and group size.
How do I book?
Send us an enquiry with your dates, number of golfers and preferred destinations. Our team replies with a tailor-made quote, and once you confirm we reserve your tee times, hotels and transfers.
